The Vela Band is a musical organization featuring three competing concert bands, two jazz ensembles, a drumline, and various other small ensembles.

Established in 2005

The instrumental music program in our middle school is the first phase of a seven-year program of instruction.​ ​

Our Goal

While it is the individual student’s achievement in music that is our primary goal, it is the commitment of all our band members to each other that will make our band program successful.
